In my early 60’s, I was told that I was a candidate for knee replacement. Through stretching, strengthening, and flexibility exercises that Melissa prescribed, I was able to postpone the surgery until I was 71, and enjoy my active lifestyle. When it came time for the surgery, she helped me prepare for, and recover from knee replacement surgery. My doctors and therapists were amazed at how quickly I recovered, at 71 years old! In just a few short weeks I was up and down stairs and riding my bike! With the new knee she is very careful, working gently on flexibility, strength, and stretching.

The best thing to do was to have hip replacement surgery! Melissa's focus then continued with strengthening the whole area, in preparation for surgery. I'm convinced that I was more prepared for surgery and recovery than most people who go through this are.
